Terms & Conditions (Japanese activities & walks in Tokyo by Yes in Japan)

We have updated our Yes in Japan terms and conditions.

The Yes in Japan activities, walks and explanations are thought for foreign travellers and residents in Japan but Japanese citizens wishing to join are welcome. A legal representative must accompany children and teenagers (18 years old or less).

We prepare our activities and walks in Tokyo for small groups and give priority by order of registration if too many participants register for the same walk/activity on the same day.

Our walks include: all entrance fees and an English speaker knowing the area and Japanese culture. Our walks do not include: food and drinks (unless specified), souvenirs and other personal purchases… To know what our diverse Japanese activities include or not, please read their specific description.

The activities/walks in Tokyo are maintained in case of reasonable rain but may be cancelled if there is heavy rain, strong wind… Contact us to check in such a case.

Cancellation is possible free of charge until 18:00 on the last business day before the activity/walk. In case of later cancellation, we will charge 1.000 yens per person as “late cancellation fee”. We will not refund money if a participant does not complete an activity/walk for personal reasons.

Our staff may take photos of participants during activities/walks. Please write on our form how to give you access to them. We will not use or share these photos without your permission.

Please let us know any physical condition, allergy, religious restriction… that may influence your ability to complete an activity or walk. We may adapt our services for your convenience.

We look forward to meeting you. Enjoy your travel in Japan, enjoy your stay in Tokyo!

YES IN JAPAN Website & Services in English

Yes in Japan provides services in English to enjoy Tokyo, travel in Japan, and discover the Japanese culture during your holidays. To bring you great value, we strive to incorporate things that foreigners can not usually see/do/understand by themselves in Japan because of communication problems (few Japanese people speak English), lack of knowledge about Japan or lack of contacts with the right Japanese persons.

We already propose interesting and fun walking tours with guides and Japanese activities in Tokyo on day time and evenings. We also provide help for shopping if you wish to buy “Made in Japan” products such as wagashi sweets, washi paper, ukiyo-e woodblock prints, ancient maps, traditional games… We carefully select and organize our Yes in Japan tours and activities to make your stay very pleasant, without worry. So far, we have organized all our walking tours to enable online reservations 1 business day before the tour, for your convenience.

Good news: Online reservations for organized tours in Japan!

Good news! To help you prepare your travel to Japan, we have created a page for each organized tour/service and enabled online reservations on our Website. You can for example already reserve/buy walking tours with English-speaking guides including a visit at the charming Kagurazaka district of Tokyo or at the Shinto shrine Kanda-myojin.

Like in 2013, you can still directly e-mail us if you have questions. If you already visit or live in Japan, you are also welcome for a face-to-face discussion at our travel agency in Tokyo!

Note: We will soon improve our reservation interface but you can already tell the good news to your friends and colleagues 🙂
