Tour in Tokyo: Storytelling in Chiyoda

Emperor

Explore Japanese legends and savour traditional cuisine from Japan with us 🙂 Meet our joyful guide in the heart of Tokyo metropolis (Chiyoda district) then follow the defensive walls & moats of the imperial palace (where Emperor Akihito lives) and walk nearby to admire statues of Shinto gods and of historical figures while listening to their story…

Telling stories in English (or French if you prefer), the storyteller Sébastien Duval (our certified guide) will surely change how you feel and think about Japan! Wondering about the Shinto myth of creation? Curious about the legend of the first emperor of Japan (pictured above)? Excited by the story of a rebel samurai’s curse? Intrigued by the story of an extremely loyal samurai (statue on the photo below)? Learn good tales to share with your friends and family back home, with related photos or souvenirs 🙂

This “storytelling” 1-day tour by Yes in Japan is suitable for travellers of all ages (small kids included) as the guide can replace a part of the walk by a short subway ride.
